Season's Lolo greetings

Hello peepz, as promised I'm here up and running. This small message to tell I wish all of you the best Christmas ever and a rocking 2007.

Christmas is full of gifts, and here are my 2.

Right now as I speak, the Planisphere album "Solarism" is 100% complete and waiting for approval. I will post some new snippets soon, and believe me, it goes way beyond my personal expectations when it comes to creativity and sound.

Secondly, I will play in the Netherlands for Christmas, at club Poema, Utrecht NL, together with some fellow artists such as Joni Ljungvist, and Galen Behr. I am really looking forward to performing on that day and hope I can count on your presence, dutch fans!!!

Sorry again, I had to delay the post I promised you all, but you should get it in the next few days before I go to Montreal.

Hope you understand I really need to give my eyes some rest with what happened recently.

Take care, all of you, and on a day like this, LET THE JOY RISE IN YOUR LIFE!!

Laurent

6 in the morning

Hey my friends, thanks for coming back. It's 6AM here and I can't sleep anymore. Let me explain why, as you all might have wondered why I haven't updated my news for so long.

You need to know that I'm suffering a lot right now. I have had an eye infection for more than 2 months, which slows down my workflow, but also makes normal living close to impossible. I don't have enough fingers to count the nights I had to stay awake because my eyes hurt so much I couldn't sleep. It took the doctors some time to discover what I was suffering from, and also it took me some time to get to the doctor anyway.

Right now, it still hurts but I'm about to begin the new treatment in order to put an end to a very hard pain.

As I write this, I'm almost blind.

I should get a lot better within the next few days and will then get back to you for the new updates, as I didn't stop working, I think I have even made a huge creative step now.

Take care my friends, cya in a few days.

Laurent

How you feeling today!???

Hello, how's everyone.today? I'd rather ask it twice, even. How's EVERYONE today?? How are you, fine? cool, so what's the deal with your parents, your loves, your families, your friends, your neighbours, people you just care about??

Guess why this title for this post and this question... Don't know? Well, I'll remind you of an important day this Sunday: THE DAY OF HUMAN RIGHTS peepz. I won't stress you enough about it, really.

You know, I'm quite happy about the way things turn for many of you. You go to school, have a family or raise one, have decent jobs, cool friends, you get money out of work, just like we do all.

Remember this day every single year, and think about people being kept in jail for no reason in so many countries. Some of you live in a country that tolerates this kind of behaviour with foreign people as well as residents, for all kinds of "good reasons" that justify the most cruel way to punish someone.

Remember that it can happen to people you see in streets, to the waiter in that restaurant you like so much, to that shop-guy, to one of your local dj's, to your friends, to your family or even to yourself.

AND FIGHT FOR A WORLD IN WHICH THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!

That's it for now, but I think that is enough!!

Take care my friends

Laurent

Why oh why???

Welcome back...

So, my icon-bashing mode is on today. There's another fight in the pipeline for me, for all of us.

You'll find this extremely harsh, but, this has been eating me too long. I can't stand it anymore and must share this thought with you, although you might disagree, I take the risk to get bashed.

So many of you go to big events, watching the top 20 "deejays" spin the latest bootleg or tune no one has yet.

I see so many dj's around me, and they will be mad at me for saying that, hopefully they will understand, getting ALL of the fame for playing a record they haven't even composed and/or produced on their own, simply because they were the first ones playing it.

I see so many other dj's playing literally "safe" ALL THE TIME, braking the evolution and freedom in music making, this for bad reasons: fear of loosing a sponsorship, a deal with a promoter, some fans who didn't get it, this showing a huge lack of ambition, passion, and even of taste in some cases.

I see many of their faces posing on EVERY party flyer, EVERY poster, EVERY dj-oriented magazine. All the same, clones, with the younger and unexperienced ones adopting EXACTLY the same behaviour, monkeys imitating muppets, because here's how you should do it, they say.

Worse, I've seen many dj's WHORING in order to play exclusive tracks from artists, IN ORDER TO GET ALL THE FAME OUT OF IT!! While the artists themselves just want to make some business out of it.

and now, the worst of it all: I saw many producers taking the DJ direction for bad reasons: "Because it pays the bills", "Because it's the only way for producers to get some fame" are the most redundant answers to this simple question...

W H Y ?

Why do artists need to make so much compromise in order to put some sound out, Why do the dj's need to get famous, why do they need to get rich, leaving 80% of the artists for a bunch of junk? Why do you need to see them rather than many other artists? Why do people respect Dutch Trance dj's much more than turntablist bands really demonstrating an art on its own such as Birdy Nam Nam, or Cut killer? Why have I never seen any tech or trance dj scratch in beat as much as my Swiss Friend Koris, or even Yves Deruyter? Why do we all need to get famous in fact, us artists, why are dj's the rockstars while they haven't touched a piano keyboard, why am I feeling like the only one reconsidering every single thing I do, trying to change something for myself??

WHY THE F**K DO YOU NEED TO PLAY ON TURNTABLES TO GET FAMOUS WHEN YOU'VE SPENT 15 YEARS PLAYING INSTRUMENTS? WHY CAN'T WE SHOW OURSELVES JUST LIKE WE ARE (good and bad sides)???

Why do people need icons?? Really I would like to know your advice on this. I've almost done the same mistake in the past, and believe me, I won't let this happen again.

It's an open question, to be honest. I think you know my answer, and I can tell you I'm definitely looking for a solution for that DJ before Airwave in my url. Be sure I will read your comments, e-mails regarding this, as it's extremely important.

But please, before any kind of comment, quote, whatever, consider this question in detail and ask yourself why?

Open yourself and feel free, guys. I won't regret saying that either. I'm not doing this in order to get noticed, but much more because I DO care about you all, and abotu us in general.

You'll see how much in my next post.

Now it's time for a cool evening with my friends at our house, take care everyone, and see you tomorrow, as tomorrow's so much more important as today...

Love you all.

Laurent

The end!!!

The end

Welcome back my friends. Thanks for coming here.

Nowadays I feel like it's the end of an era, although many of you haven't realised yet.

Last week saw me play in Amsterdam and Birmingham. I told you about this before. Well, it went well for both of them, but honestly, I can see something happening slowly inside the clubscene.

It's finally imploding for your own good. In Amsterdam I had to play with many different artists. Some of them were extremely friendly, many others, and for no reason, were arrogant babyfaced pricks. And you know what? This time the arrogant idiots haven't won with their behaviour.

And good news, I don't feel like I'm the only one realizing there was something wrong... Many people I'm talking to, upcoming artists, but also fans, adopted a totally different behaviour, while many ego-trippers of yesterday are now respectful. No icons, no rules, no label on our heads, we just like go with the flow, acting out of personal taste much more than ever before.

This mafia-ego-money-behaviour that was polluting and BRAKING the EDM scene has come to an end, probably, HOPEFULLY, and you can't see me more happy than I am now because of that!!

We're about to live a HUGE decade for electronic music, although many of you cannot see it happen yet. With less money in the game, we will dare making something else, and putting it out just like it is without compromise has never been that easy thanks to digital releases!!

Artists play a key role in everyone's life, but we do NOT need icons, we need hardworkers sweating their A$$es in order to earn enough money for a decent living. Or better, if you want to be an icon, well, DESERVE this status.

Icons will be my next topic dudes, as I'm EXTREMELY angry at the same time, but I'll keep it for tomorrow!!

Laurent

See you tonite!!!

Here we go for another update!!! Right B4 THE GATECRASHER GIG IN BIRMINGHAM, LOL

Again one for the studio geeks, actually.

You know I've been making so much stuff in the last 10 years, out of love, passion for electronic music.

An idea came to my mind a few months ago: what about sharing some stuff with you all regarding studio, techniques, and why not some samples to illustrate this??

This is why I already may announce there's something in the making, I wouldn't say it's huge, it's simply something I've been making for 4 years while I had some spare time with no track in the making on my screen. Let's say it's composed of loops, hehe... MORE INFO soon.

And on another note, I told you how much I love Ableton Live and its linked software... well I've been strongly studying the application alongside with its Operator and Sampler Instruments...

Ableton Live 6 has become my main tool in the studio, and there's no day without "GOSH!! WOAH" at this time. Why? Because I simply learn new stuff about this program EVERY SINGLE DAY. Some things are commonly used by everyone, Some others are not that obvious.

I just feel like a student preparing his Doctor Degree. Just like my wife.

That is also why I decided I'd try to use some spare time and write a complete book about Ableton Live, Operator, Sampler, Simpler, Impulse, whatever I've seen, learned about those little toys that make my life so enjoyable every day.

Of course, any help is welcome, and I strongly encourage those who want to get involved to send me an e-mail and explain how you feel you might help. I'll consider all entries, really!!

More to come guyzzzzz

Take care

Laurent

BOOOOOH!!!

It's me again!! LOL

You want to know what's been up lately in the studio?? NO? Ah ok then,...

LMAO!!

I know you do!!

Well, last week saw meput the final touch to a brand new DJ Fire track, and Jurgen and I are pretty sure many of you will like it as much as "Let the Joy rise". Title, release date, and all info soon on the Banshee website and then here!!

I spent the rest of my time testing a huge load of software, including the latest Native Instruments stuff, except for Reaktor, that I don't need and/or like.

Well, while Absynth is not as good as I expected, FM8 is THE BOMB, and Massive is... well MASSIVE!! I love those 2 and I recommend these!!

But you know, peepz, I'm first of all a huge fan of Ableton, and of course ALL OF IT. This includes Operator, Sampler as well as Live's brand new features. I will tell you more about it in the next few days, as I 'm preparing something big about my passion for this software.

Oh, and don't forget: the best softsynths and plugins are not always the pricey ones. Take a look at the FREEWARE stuff, it's just amazing. I admit I like Alphakanal's Automat, Green Oak's Crystal, Urs Heckmann's Triple Cheese a lot, while I LOVE many of those glitchy plugins as Supatrigga, Livecut, and many, many others from Smartelectronix.

IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT SOFTSYNTHS AND PLUGINS GUYS!! Feel lucky, because it's where I come from!! Back in those days, the computer was just powerful enough to run midi software and some extra's!!

Well, see you in a day or two, as it's not over...
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 Heeeeeyyyyyaaaaaaa!!!
How's everyone doing today??
I've got some really interesting info for you all guys!!

First of all, don't forget my PROGREZ show on DI.FM this wedneseday.
As some of you may know, the concept is slightly changed and those changed will take full effect by the end of this year, if not earlier.

First hour will remain a regular dj set with the latest tunes I like and some reworks of pure electronic music, and some other exclusive mashups.

Second hour is the big change: the whole mix will be stuff from my label only, original mixes and remixes, exclusive mash up's ONLY for that set, rare stuff, unreleased or yet to be released stuff, and also some classics, will be what you will hear from now on during that second hour. This is what makes the PROGREZ concept totally unique in my opinion.

So, please make sure you have some time every wednesday, and check out the DI site and forums, for full information.

More info to follow this week still, as I said, I've got a BUNCH of stuff cooking in the kitchen, while my wife just been cooking some cookies, yummy... LOL

cya in a bit

Laurent

Hello, welcome back to this place

I've finally found some time to post some BIG news and other info regarding my activities right now.

I know, it's been way too quiet the last few days on my site.

First of all, you can see on myspace that I updated the "upcoming gigs" section...

Next Thursday, November 30th, will see me perform an exclusive set for STUDIO 80 in Amsterdam, alongside with other talented dj's and producers. Dear dutch nieghbours, this is probably your sole chance to check out my skills as a performer, and I cannot insist enough about it, this is definitely worth a try. I will explain why on a next blog item...

And 2 days later, I will give my UK fans exactly the same treatment during a gig for... yeah peepz, GATECRASHER!! I'm soooo happy I can perform again thanks to what I consider as a real institution in UK clubbing. There's another one coming soon in another UK venue. So, UK fans, AFTER 2 YEARS absence in your country, mostly thanks to ridiculous behaviour from some promoters, this is time to come and see me there!!

That's enough for this week, but I expect many of you to attend one of these gigs, I will make myself available for everyone, well I hope I will be able to, anyway.

Stay tuned, because a lot more info is coming!!

Take care

Laurent

The Océean D'étoiles case

Hey guys,

Yep, it's about time to talk about this.

The other day, I was browsing files on my backup drives and found the master of "Océan d'étoiles", you know, that track that my friend Jon kinda leaked when playing on the radio and that EVERYONE has kept requesting??

This track is 4 years old and still sounds like it was made yesterday. I'm sure that many of you will be happy to see it released online.

Well, I'm reconsidering it, this time seriously, but no vinyl, and only as a side track of a new single.

You're the ones to decide about this anyway. That is why I need your advice and your shout. Next week I'll post a short snippet on my site and on myspace for 14 days, just for those who don't know the track, if I judge the number of plays/ positive comments on myspace sufficient, or better, if you come with an online petition signed by dozens of people, then I'll seriously release it.

Lesson Two of that "DO NOT TRASH FINISHED WORK EITHER, IDIOT" book... ROFL

Take care

Laurent

When a fan makes your day

Hey guys,

Here's what I got from a fan through a simple pm. Thought it was a good thing to share it with you, as it really made my day...

Hi Laurent

I was listening to some of your tracks a while ago, and I just thought maybe I should drop a line. It's something I wanted to tell you a long time ago, but I guess I've always postponed it..
I remember the day I first listened to Trilogique, some months ago. It was a very bad day for me emotionally because of some personal problems I was having that period. The only good thing that had happened that day was receiving Trilogique on the mail. I hadn't heard any of the tracks before (except for People Just Don't Care). I wasn't planning to hear the whole album (I wasn't in the mood for music) , maybe just a couple of minutes. I put it on the CD player, and Sky Blues came on... I was so amazed by the intro, I heard the whole track. And I have to tell you.. It reflected exactly what I was experiencing that time. That melancholy, a feeling of dissapointment... What a track... I don't know what you had in mind when you wrote it, that's just what it made me feel. So I listened to the whole album, and it soon helped me forget my problems. And after some tracks, Summer Out came on... It has a happy feeling, it reminds you of the good things in life...
I suppose it's needless to tell you how much I love and admire your music... But I just felt like telling you that. Trilogique is fantastic, all of it (CD3 ), as well as your older Airwave tracks (Alone in the Dark ) , and they always have an impact on me, emotionally.
I hope, and wish, you always remain so clever and level-headed. I'll always look forward to your new stuff (like Solarism, Planisphere project is top-class). Sorry for the long post and I hope I didn't sound very dramatic lol

Best wishes

G.

Here it comes. Making people feel better gives a totally new sense to this music, and proves once again that an artist is in a way always being rewarded for his hard work. I price this kind of message ten thousand times more worth than all the Euros I might get from this album!

And of course criticism is also positive, so don't hesitate to post your messages, comments, e-mails and co. I tend to reply to everyone as often as I can, and I promise I won't bite LOL.

Take care

Laurent

New music on the way

Hello my friends,

Well well well, I figured that many of you like the new Lolo single?? That's an extremely good thing!! LOL. Seriously, this is the kind of track you never seem to finish, it took me 3 years to complete Take my hand, while Teddybear's escape took me 4 hours.

There's a good thing I learned about this: NEVER TRASH YOUR UNFINISHED WORK!! Hehe.

So, as you all can check on my website now, there is an extremely huge amount of tracks cooking right now. I put a few teasers on the audio player, so please check it out!!

There is a lot more coming in the next few months, and I am extremely proud of what I've been able to complete this year. This all thanks to you guys, really. You constantly feed my soul with your messages, questions, requests, and props by e-mail.

Please also visit myspace account, http://www.myspace.com/djairwave and don't be shy, send your messages, comments, friend requests, and blog comments too!!

Next week I'll give you more info regarding the next few gigs as there is a lot happening right now Winking

That's it for now, but don't hesitate to come back later this week!!

Oh and one more thing: NEXT AIRWAVE SINGLE: PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE. More info soon

Take care

Laurent

We breathe again!

Hello, welcome back to this place!!

This week saw me playing at the BeTA party V4 in Gent, Belgium. As many of you know, BeTA's are extremely active Tranceaddict members living in Belgium, they are obsessively mowing lawns in order to proivde quality parties everwhere in Belgium.

The only thing I can do from my end is to provide them full support, and that's why I want to thank you again guys. You bring the good club spirit back in our country, and I wish you will see how important it is one of these days!!

In those times of full prostitution and mafia behaviour among the EDM industry people, such kind of parties brings a huge breath of fresh air that we all have been waiting for long.

Enough for today but stay tuned, as the next update is for really soon Winking

Take care

Laurent

The idiots have won again!!!

A sad, sad period for the EDM industry, unfortunately. Also for nowadays' life in general in my humble opinion.

Today's life sounds like we are ruled by people who are unable to think about something else than glory, money, domination, and we just act as if those people are right to do so. We just follow the huge trend as pure sheep and never react.

I have always done this and everything else in my life with passion and love as my leading light.

Most of the EDM industry people have shown nothing than dumbness and a good sense for prostitution in the last few months, that I for one cannot tolerate in any single way. Those people just act as if this whole scene is about competition between artists and focus on one single thing, 10 months a year (and you know what I'm talking about here). Like politics, my friends... Ironic it is, to break the chains of some "reality" in order to become slaves of another "reality", and that PISSES me OFF!! Artists don't need to be "elected by people" in order to make good music, though?!?

Wake up you all, you deserve a WAY better situation. Not convinced by my appreciation of the facts?? Some artists release records for so-called "charity", right before a famous poll, or an album release, or anything else, in order to get fame back out of it more than in order to help people with real basic needs.

SOLIDARITY has to come from ANONYMOUS SOURCES AND WITH NOTHING IN RETURN, goddamnit! (oops, Dear lord, excuse my language here!!).

Don't be blind anymore my friends, dare putting things under a different light, and most importantly, criticize anything or anyone by starting with yourself.

I used to be a slave of that "go for gold" behaviour, used to be a fashion victim, used to be arrogant with some people in the past... My apologies for this.

Many people send me e-mails. I wish I could reply to anyone, really, unfortunately, I'm just some humand being, and I wish some of you will forgive my late replies at times. Most others will tell you what's cookin here...

Well enough with this, take care my friends, and remember, there's nothing more important than LOVE and PASSION in life.

Happy
Laurent

Airwave @ MySpace

And before I forget also check out my MySpace webpage here: DJ AIRWAVE @ MySpace
Saturday, October 28th, 2006 Back from the craziness kitchen!!
Hello my friends,

Back for an update, finally. Last night my Progrez show on DI Prog was well appreciated. I can't thank you enough for the continuous support, especially the US people . You regularly check the show and show a lot of enthusiasm. So, what about Europe, well I wish there were more ACTIVE listeners on this side of the world... But the world does turn around the sun and not around Lolo Winking

BY THE WAY, Lolo's new single is finally getting its release on 21st November: TAKE MY HAND/ TEDDYBEAR'S ESCAPE will soon be out peepz. Nice isn't it??

Did you also check Nova's album?? Come on, guys, it's about time to do so!! Pastpresentfuture should be out by Nov 7th...

Also, hehe, I know you're impatient, that's why we decided to release a LOST TRACK of Planisphere, hence the title of it LOL!! So you can wait until Solarism gets released... it's almost done!!

Today I added some new snippets to the audio section of my site!! Hope you will be happy with them. Will add them to myspace too.

I am now working on the new mix of the next Airwave single. You know what it is, I guess??

Yeah, the title of this track means a lot to me, and is also a good way to introduce the next update...

Take care my friends , and stay tuned

Laurent

Time for a step forward

Heya my friends,

I'm just back from Helsinki, erm... with a cold LOL!!

Thanks to all of you attending the Housenation Electribe party. It was great as usual!! For those who did miss it... I'll play other parties in Finland soon peepz!!

The party itself was huge, and I didn't expect anything like that. I must send my props to the promoter's staff, they really made something fantastic over there!!!

Now, as some of you have discovered the way I play at gigs for long, I decided to give the FUN some update... and push things a little bit forward...

From now on, I will ONLY PLAY MY TRACKS with A FEW SELFMADE REWORKS during my gigs. Which means my shows will become a lot more unique, AGAIN!! I think I'm the only guy in the industry who has made enough tracks to afford this comfortable situation. I think it's absolutely worth it for you too. So many people come to me with track requests, some old tracks that I don't have with me...

That's why I will redesign my virtual record case, and bring some good old airwave stuff with me alongside with the latest studio stuff, sometimes "still in the works" (Taaaaaake myyyyy haaaand LOL).

Guess what, this week my friend found a previsouly unreleased Planisphere track without any name, from early 2001!! We're considering the release of that "Lost Track" as it is soon.

Ah, and please don't forget to leave your posts on our forum: http://www.bonzaimusicforum.com at times, it helps us a lot more than you can imagine.

That's it for this week...

Oh one last thing: Belgian Fans are all invited to the BeTA Party in Ghent (Rector), on October 31st!!

Take care peepz, and stay tuned!

Best regards,

Laurent

Cut the line

Hello, and welcome back.

I'm terribly sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Here's a short explanation. I've been through extremely hard times since early july. First of all, I got a notice of eviction and got forced to move houses. This cost me a lot of time and money as you all can imagine. Secondly, while moving houses I had no internet access. My ISP was unable to register my new address' connection on its servers because of an administrative mistake, which led to a total communication cut. Everything has been sorted out for only 24 hours...

As you can imagine, I was unable to even upload my Progrez and NRJ shows on the ftp's. By this I kindly would like to apologize again. Ben and Johan, this is the very first/last time something like this happened, believe me!!

Now I'm back on track!!

So, as you all have noticed, I'm working extremely hard to complete a Nova album, a brand new Planisphere album. OUT SOON guys, REALLY SOON

And, surpriiiiise, the brand new Lolo is finished, and will be released in november. It's called "Take my Hand", while you might have heard the b-sde earlier, "Teddybear's Escape".

One HUGE thing coming up: Real Audio Works presents Airwave. A compilation album of full length tracks under the Airwave alias!!! Yeah peepz, you read it right, FULL LENGTH MIXES!!! This on October 10th, while I've just hit TEN years of music making!! WOW, isn't that incredible??

This month will see me play back in Helsinki, Finland. So, I invite all finnish people to come and see me play at a wonderful gig organized by the local usual suspects!!

For those who can't make it, you can check a very good video that was shot in july in Budapest @ club Blade. I had a wonderful time with Jonas Steur over there!!

Here's the link: Airwave Live in Blade Club - Budapest - 22-07-2006

So, peepz, as you can see, your attention is very important to me. Soon, I'll upload new teasers and will put them in the audio player, for your ears only!!!

And one more thing. Yeah, again this year, there will be a "very important" poll for a well known magazine... Ahem. Well here's what I have to say about that.

The fact some might vote for me won't change anything to the results and to the amazing feedback that I get when doing my live sets. As all of you know, I'm not playing dj sets anymore. So for me there's no reason I need to get on that list. Worse, it would affect my credibility, as I don't think you deserve even more spam from "again another artst who's trying to make it". I don't need this. If you did vote for Airwave, well thanks in advance, but let me remind you that I'm getting a lot of respect from many people through the years, such poll is not an extra nor is it important to my eyes.

End of story. Thanks again for coming back here. See you in a few days!!

Best regards,

Laurent

Holidayyyyssssss oh my holidaaaayyyssssss!!!

Hey my friends,

This is the last time I will be able to post news before an extremely well deserved holiday. You'll see me back on August 16th. My "apologies" for the inconvenience LOL, I hope you understand.

Again I've been through extremely hard times in the last few months, extremely busy, but at the end, I am proud of what I've been able to accomplish. I would like to thank you all, as I wouldn't be existing without your precious support. Huge props to my Bulgarian, Dutch, English, Japanese, Turkish, Qatari, Swiss, Hungarian, French and of course Belgian fans!!

Hungarian peepz: don't forget I'm playing in Budapest this Saturday. Don't miss this chance, as it will be one of my last PA's before a long long time!!

Hey guys, did you see that on the Bonzaimusic page?? A full Antidote mix as a podcast, FOR FREE!! Go check it out guys, we're really proud of this mix, a true journey that will send you into SPACE!! Only the best Bonzai tracks in one package!!

www.bonzaimusic.com

Sooo, what have I been up to recently??

Well, I have made lots of new stuff: The new Lolo-track "Take my hand" is almost complete, I made a dub version of it to play out and believe me, IT'S A STOMPER!!
Also, I'm extremely, well WE are extremely proud to see that lots of dj's appreciate the new Cape Town and Dj Fire tracks, I heard that Armin and Markus are playing it a lot, just as I am. Well Jurgen, Ludovic, and Lolo thank them a lot, us weally happeeeeee!!
Peepz, ANTIDOTE IS ON FIRE!! Soon the new single will hit the stores, EXPECT A HUGE SURPRISE!!
And last but not least: a new Project name, called Sagittaire. The first single 1982/inmyfaze is a mixture of electro and deep progressive @120bpm. HOT STUFF

One last thing regarding Dance Valley last weekend...

First of all thanks to the people who came, and also to the promoters/organizers. Everything was spot-on... Except for one thing that I don't understand, although you won't see mee unhappy at all...

I don't understand why you let an artist with 10 years background performing a Live act as warming up at 1pm while there is no one. I hear that many people "didn't come" to see me for those reasons.

That's the only bad point, fortunately, and I had a good time there.

But you see guys, even after 10 years, artists have to suffer from a too big competition between all of them, this behind the back of promoters/organizers who mostly do not inform well enough about the scene/ the artists.

Most of the time, the "artists" in "competition" just get to the top before fading out and disappearing. Fact is, as I said 2 weeks ago, promoters are also blind sheep. They just follow a trend 6 months in a row, and then you have to compete with artists in order to be on the top of the bill... for a period of 6 months!! Ridiculous.

This "competition" makes me really sad. That is not the way it was when I started out. I wish for all of you upcoming artists the scene will turn good again... Only the hardworking people will stay in this time of download portals, internet and co. Don't forget this EVER!!

We wish you all a great summer, wherever you are!!

Laurent (and Melody)

Booking update

Dear Belgian Fans,

As you all know, I had confirmed my presence at the BeTA party in Ghent, Belgium on July 7th.

Unfortunately I have terrible news, as I have to inform you that my presence on that day won't be possible at all.

Let me explain the reasons:

I have another gig the day after (July 8th) in Varna, Bulgaria. This was processed by my booking agency a long time ago.

A couple of days ago, I received the flight tickets and figured the departure date wasn't July 8th (as I normally request) but July 7th, date of the BeTA party. I also noticed that the tickets were not flexible nor refundable.

I made several searches for other flights I was about to pay for on my own, but unfortunately the cheapest ticket with departure date on July 8th costs so much I really cannot afford it.

So, sad news for you all, and you can be assured I was really looking forward to playing at the Rector, but this won't be possible at all.

You know how much I hate booking cancellations, but this time I don't have any other choice.

I hope you will accept my deepest apologies, yet be assured I will do my best to be present at any other party organized by The Belgian Trance Addict crew in the future, as I was EXTREMELY up for it!!

Thanks for your understanding,

Kind regards,

Laurent

Blog for a change

Hello everyone,

As you might have noticed we made a couple of changes on the website, so you can see there is a lot happening in Laulauland, LOL.

June is over, welcome July and its festivals... You know what I mean?? DANCE VALLEY in 2 weeks peepz!! I hope I will be able to see many of you, and please be sure I'll try to make myself fully available. I'm not a festival-specialist, but I'll do my best. AND I'M GONNA KICK SOME MAJOR A$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!! Believe me!!

...

Today I decided I had to share this extremely sore taste in my mouth, I mean, I am REALLY pissed, and I had to tell you.

Availability, presence, honesty, and altruism are the missing things in today's life in community, and I regret it a lot.

WAKE UP PEEPZ! WILL YOU LONGER ACCEPT THE FACT YOU'RE BEING TREATED LIKE SHEEP??

We do not need to be ruled by babyface heroes, figures, rockstar-minded people.

You just want to quit this bad reality and you listen to EDM just because you think different and you feel different than many others, too. Why oh why, then, do you need to get in the same trap again?? Why oh why do so many people need this kind of drug for the mind? I mean WHY do you need FAMOUS people to go to clubs?? concerts?? bars?? or just buy music??

Concretely, this makes me literally puke that some dj's/artists and so many figures stand at a place, not really because they deserve it, although they might, but a lot more because they adopt the wrong attitude. They all want to be loved, and all of them totally forgot about respect, and they don't give any love in return.

You know, I can compare 80% of this EDM scene to the Red Light District in Amsterdam ( a place you won't see me at, EVER, by the way, LOL). And I'm extremely fed up with it.

Love, my friends, is a precious gift that we all have, Mom or Dad, if not Mother Nature gave us that. It's just a shame that we are all trying to keep it for ourselves.

Under those 1000Tons of negativity, there's at least one positive thing. The music market is changing dramatically. People nowadays buy records a lot more according to THEIR personal tastes and not because the store has 100 copies left in stock. Thanks to download portals like Beatport, Audiojelly, djdownload, trackitdown, and of course iTunes. By the way I would like to thank those people working there...

That's mostly because of that wannabefamous attitude I wish the download market expands itself a lot in the upcoming months, years, decades. So, we'd not have to bear this popstar attitude anymore. It's never matched our community, and it won't EVER.

The last thing remaining, even after a huge mess, is love and passion. Those things I want so much to share with you all. Those thing that kept me alive after the 2003 events in the industry that totally broke my person in pieces.

People just don't care, now you know what I meant...

End of story!! Have a nice weekend and enjoy the clubsounds!!

Take care

Laurent

Ready for The Promise I Made

Hey peepz,

The brand new single off my Trilogique Album will be Promise I made, my collaboration with Jon O'Bir. It comes with a brand new electro mix/dub that stormed every single venue I played at in the last few weeks. Also we got support from Sunscreem's Vocalist Lucia to add vox on this one, and she did an excellent job. Get ready for it!!

I've got so much stuff cooking right now, I can't wait to play them all, so don't miss my monthly progrez show on DI FM, every last wednesday of the month.

And don't forget to subscribe to my AW podcast to get your montly delivery of soulful music, just for you!!

I made a very simple url so everyone can get there:

www.awpodcast.tk

More to come!!!

Take care

Monday, June 12th, 2006 Hello Sunshine!!!!!!
Wow, what a nice weather here in Central Europe!! Above 30° in some parts, couldn't expect a better start of this week!!

I wanted to thank all the people present @ Illusion club, Lier last Saturday. Few people came, but honestly, I had a very good time improvizing on the keys during the set. I love this club, and you ever want me back, don't hesitate and ask the club promoter!!

Lots of stuff to do this week, so I'll get back later to you, in a few days

Take care

Laurent

Monnndaaaayyyyy Mooooorninggggggggggg!!!

Hello, Tokyo?? I' m finally back, it was about time!!

It's Monday Morning, I feel extremely good, and hope you feel the same way hehe.

Last week saw me working with friends or on my own on several pieces of interesting clubmusic, can't wait for release, it's very cool and deep. Hope you'll like. Projects are Nova and Planisphere.

Today and tomorrow will see me working with Linus. Great upcoming artist, believe me.

First of all, don't forget this Saturday's gig in Club XEYETING, Leeuwaarden, NL. Y CATCHERS night with JOOP, Dazzle, Misja Helsloot, and myself of course.

Secondly, from now on, I decided to keep you up to date twice a week with shorter text instead of weekly books you don't have time for Winking

Enjoy the start of this week despite the cold weather here in Europe... and see you same place this Thursday for more news. I have a lot happening right now.

Take care my friends

Laurent

When the most important day in your life knocks the door!!!

I take the last few minutes I have left to write this message to you all. You cannot imagine how happy I am. Today I'm officially not single anymore. Ladyblue became my wife and I became her husband. I wish you all to live those incredible moments of joy and love in your existence.

Last week my friends organized my bachelor's party behind my back... erm erm erm... and some of them even came from the other side of the globe, can you believe this?? (won't give you any names though Winking ). So happy seeing all of my friends. With our respective jobs we don't have much time left for a chat or a drink. It was about time, too!!

I feel extremely lucky today, much more than any other day on this earth.

That's it for this week, I know it's short, and hope you won't mind. Don't forget you though!!

oh, and One more thing, completed another breaks track... hehehehe.

Take care my friends

Laurent

May and it's flowers after 3 years of M.U.D.!!!

HELLO MY FRIENDS! Again a longer weekend prepares here, again a monday off!!! You all are lucky.

First of all, I would like to talk about Melody, aka Ladyblue, aka the beautiful and wonder(ful) woman who's been sharing the last 6 years of my (poor, LOL) existence.

Honey, next week you will become my wife and I had to tell everyone as I would by screaming my love for you on every single scryscraper of Brussels, Antwerp, Gent, NYC, well, fortunately the Internet exists for this kind of purpose, LOL!!!

I've been extremely active the last few days, and soon you will be able to hear the results. SOON PEEPZ!!

Meanwhile, to ALL dj's, I'm extremely proud to announce the imminent availability of Trilogique in full length version. YES your read it right. All the tracks!! Hope you will find some extra value to the album concept.

So, you wanna know what I've been working on lately?? Well, I'm preparing a new planisphere album. I don't know how much time it will take to complete it, but lemme tell you that it's gonna be awesome, as it already is!! Secondly, I'm making lots of deep and progressive stuff right now, for projects such as Nova for example. I'm extremely proud I can be that versatile and flexible at times.

Oh, forgot about the new Lolo in the pipeline. Lemme tell you some more about it, basically I started this track in 2003 when moving to Brussels, and never ever have been able to finish it... 3 years, 3 project bounces/exports, and 400+ audio tracks, we're almost close to completion this time. Normally it takes me about 8 hours to finish a track, this one was a real PAIN, believe me!! Still I don't know why. I hear this stuff, I'm proud of it, but it's nothing spectacular. But I managed to complete the instrumental stuff, and it's a huge achievement.

ALWAYS FINISH YOUR PRODUCTIONS PEEPS!! THAT'S THE SECRET!!

Finally, many people have been asking about the latest tracklist of my Progrez Show, so here's a "CENSORED" version of it Winking

PS 7 days left!!

Easter holiday...???

HELLO MY FRIENDS! From the bottom of my heart, I would like to wish all of you a happy Easter Holiday weekend, full of fun and clubbing, I guess??

Well, unfortunately, Easter Monday is not a holiday for everyone... Think about the personnel at clubs for example, or so many others, working on that day... including the person writing here... Winking

Yes, I'm about to complete the new mixes of the next Airwave single. I wish you will like themas much as I do.

But first of all, I would like to say hi to my die hard fans in Japan. I know some of you ordered a cd through the Unit club's Landscape promoter who organized the party there... Some of you must be a little pissed they haven't received any cd yet. I'm really sorry, and I have to assure you it's MY mistake and not the promoter's. My deepest apologies for that. If you still want to order the cd's please contact them again, as the cd's should arrive by next week.

The rest of this week was extremely busy for both myself and my girlfriend, as we're organizing a very important event for the two of us in the next few weeks. I'll explain later, my friends!!!

Meanwhile, I completed a NEW CAPE TOWN release together with a NEW PARTNER: Ferry Tayle, producer from France, good friend of mine, too. Release pretty soon I hope!!

And also, good news for our Belgian fans: THE ROTATIONZ EXPEDITION 1 should arrive really soon.

WATCH OUT BELGIUM!!!!
=====================

Trilogique Party in Club Havana, Haltert, Belgium, on April 22nd 2006. Guest dj's: Elof and Fred Nova, two of my best friends in the Belgian dance scene. Alongside Resident La Fourt from Havana will open for us too.

Please come to this wonderful party. The club will be incredibly full as it normally is on Saturdays, so don't forget to come early.

Well, that's it for today, hope you will have a great and long long long weekend!!

Take care my friends

Laurent

PS Ladyblue-addict!!

The future is bright

Hello, peepz. I haven't much to tell you this week... well except for that erm... small antidote STOMPER we made!! It's a brilliant tune and I'm sure everyone's gonna play it!! We're now making some extra mixes, which will take some time.

I'v been trying to find out what's up right now in my own country's scene... Well it gets more and more depressing. Looks like Belgian artists just want to work against each other instead of working with each other in some cases.

You won't believe me, but in such small country as Belgium, a few people still manage to have a huge ego.

FORTUNATELY, most club people are NOT like this. And you know how important you are to me peez! And that's why I'm sure that with your help the future is... well... much more than simply bright.

So, enough complaining here, I will give you 2 more updates.

1) Don't forget the April 22nd Trilogique Party in Club Havana, Haltert, Belgium, for more info please mail me.

2) I'm now working on new material, including Lolo, Cape Town, Body Shock, and many many others. So, I hope you'll be happy soon!

Take care my friends, have a nice weekend

Laurent

P.S.: Darling, love you.

Breaking the chains...

Hello, welcome back my friends!! This week was again full of surprises in a way. After completing a bunch of new tracks last week, I thought my box of ideas would be totally empty, and that changing the way I work would affect my productivity. Well let me assure you, my box of ideas ain't getting empty, and definitely moving from Logic to Ableton Live as my main sequencer was probably the best choice I have ever done.

Let's talk a little about Studio work today... Nowadays you have those incredible pieces of software being released every single day on the Internet as freebies or sharewares, and I have tried a lot of them. The conclusion is simple: it's never been more simple to make music before. All those mangling, tweaking, slicing and dicing tools are just like potatoes to my eyes (and obivously to my ears). Like strange fuzz boxes you can plug your guitar into.

And that is what Ableton Live has become in my artistic career. One single tool to create, re-arrange, adapt, and perform. Just like a guitar and its fx units. So, for those interested, I would like to pay my respect to the creator of this software, Monolake, a brilliant techno artist by the way. Check his work out on iTunes!!

Now enough geek talk, let's come back to earth!!!. I completed 3 brand new productions this week, and it just goes on and on!! It scares me off in a way, because ideas come to my mind any single minute, when driving, when having lunch, when having my shower, and even when sleeping. It scares me off because firstly I don't know how to find enough time in my life to make all of this music, and secondly because I'm scared I might forget the ideas any minute. Extremely stressful.

Here are the new productions of the last 2 weeks:

Velvet Girl, E-love, Dj Fire, and Lolo.

Won't give you the names now, so I can keep you a little warm in the next few weeks... :-p

Release dates will be revealed soon, on the Bonzaimusic website

And last but not least, let's talk about gigs. Unfortunately, this weekend's gig got cancelled because of an issue with the club. But Paul told me it's just a question of time until we find another one!!

First of all, I AM BACK IN THE UK ON MAY 13TH!! SE1 in London, thanks to Lee Osborne and Graham Gold!! Can't wait to LITERALLY KICK SOME MAJOR A$$$$ there!!!! Good news!!

And, well, as some 50 years old guy says during his Macworld keynotes (guess who??), there is "One Last Thing".

April 22nd will see mee play in Belgium for the very first time in 3 years. I chose the smallest and nearest possible location, and found Club Havana to be the perfect place. So, be there early. The line up includes very good friends of mine already, like Elof (aka E-love) and Fred Nova (long time friend and true fan). Also I would like to thank Nico, the resident dj, to make this possible. Other names might be added to the line up, but believe me, THE PLACE WILL ROCK AS MUCH AS IT'S SMALL. More info about the location will follow soon, and for my belgian fans, there will be free entry tickets to win during my FM radio shows Winking.

Well, that sums it up for this week. Oops, another thing: Honey, I love you!!

Take care my friends,

Laurent.

It's a new dawn, it's a neeewwww daaay

Finally! I had become extremely frustrated I couldn't work on new productions because of the Trilogique Tour... Now I am extremely happy I can just stay home for a few days. Spend some time with Ladyblue, have some food, have some spare time for myself, do the paperwork (I am extremely weak at this!! LOL), prepare the next tour dates, the radio shows, also prepare my wed...eeeerm, oopst!! You haven't read the last 5 words ok??

And yeah, I am now working on some new material, and lemme tell you, MY BATTERIES ARE CHARGED!! Some collaborations with Jurgen, Elof, Ydr, and some remix work too, everything is slowly growing, and I cannot wait until you hear what we've done here. It's just great new material!!

The Hybrid Sets clearly inspire me, as I'm jamming live on stuff, you know ermm, accidents happen!! Lemme remind you that, 90% of the music is based on "accidents", something that was not planned originally. So yes, the way I am now performing definitely serves my creativity!!

Last Saturday saw me play at the Powerzone in Amsterdam. It was nice, despite the public being really tired apparently, even for Phynn who took over after my set. But they were enjoying the night apparently... After this we got back home, 5 in the morning, I almost fell asleep behind the wheel!! Tiredness Kills, they say on Englsih M1, well I reckon they're absolutely right!!

Next tourdates will be announced next week when I'll have everything confirmed and planned.

I am extremely sorry to remind my scottish fans the event in Glasgow got cancelled, but the promoter promised me other dates, and I'm sure I can trust him!!

Well, be kind this weekend, drive safely and don't stay too late at clubs, unlike me Winking

Take care

Laurent

Happy birthday sweetheart

Hello my friends, welcome back in Lolo-land!!

Last weekend saw me again far from home. Friday Germany, Saturday Western-France, not too far from Angers.

Let me tell you that I had an extremely good set in this French club, and I can't thank the french public enough. Thanks to Anthony M, resident dj and promoter of the Cristal club, and all the fellow dj's and musicians present. Special thanks to Eddy, my friend, thanks to whom I got in touch with Anthony. I really owe you dood!!

Who the hell said Trance had no public, and also no future in France??

NOW YOU HEARD HOW A TRILOSET SOUNDS LIKE, DO YOU WANT TO SEE HOW IT LOOOOOOOOKS LIKE??
Well copy paste this link:

Airwave Hybrid Set Live

I hope you will enjoy this one!!

This definitely proves that this country will be extremely important for Trance and Progressive music in the future!!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This Saturday will see me perform again, this time in Amsterdam, at the Powerzone, for a special event organized by Misja Helsloot and some Trance.nu people. I cannot wait to play there and see my dutch fans!! Hope you will come guys!!!

Will be back home on Sunday morning, will make some tea, and will wish a happy birthday to my Sweetheart, who's turning 24 in 2 days. I love you honey, thanks for supporting all of this, I know it's not easy at all for you either...

Take care my friends, enjoy your weekend,

Laurent.

Home for a few days...

Hello my friends, You cannot imagine how tired, but also how happy I am after my two latest gigs.

I left for Tokyo, Japan, on Friday Feb 24th and had a show the next day. Some of you don't know how horrible sitting in a plane can be at some point. 12 hours in this case... sounds like an eternity, especially when you can't sleep because of the plane's ambient noise, the lights, the neighbourhood. Fortunately I got ear isolators from the crew, and kept them for later too, you'll soon understand why...

Arrived on Saturday at Narita airport. There's a 2 hours drive to the city, luckily enough I finally fell asleep... for 60 minutes while flying. No sleep until 3PM because of the hotel making no exception. So JD, Neko, others who picked me up and myself went for a walk until then.

Finally some sleep... 1 hour and a half exactly. I had to prepare my stuff for the night, call my wife at International rate from the hotel (no GSM network in Japan!!), have a shower or two... and then leave for the party.

WHAT AN AMAZING CROWD. They were only 400 and screamed like they were at least 5 times more. Played a 2h40m set, went totally nuts. I cannot describe what happened on that night, it was so intense, nothing to do with a regular club night you and I can spend here in Belgium, NOTHING! With an atmosphere close to the one you can have in a concert arena (believe it or not), it's difficult to get wrong... Emotionally one of my best live gigs in years, I swear.

Overexhausted after my set, I was. Almost 5 in the morning in Tokyo, and it was time to get back... to the train station, catch the early bullet train to Narita with all my stuff, and my plane a few hours later! Same thing happened, you only fall asleep for a few moments, then you wake up because of the reactor's noise. Impossibly irritating!! But this doesn't own the joy and excitement I have just lived in that club, and I can't wait to go back to Japan!!

Sunday afternoon, back in cold Paris Charles de Gaulle, another bullet train, another diet-coke to stay awake, another kind of noise that keeps you awake. A few hours later, finally back home, finally my bed, my wife, the puss, the tenderness. Lights out, and 10 hours of well deserved sleep.

Wednesday March 1st, 5 in the morning, the alarm clock peeps, gotta wake up and there's no other way if I do not want to miss the flight. 6 o'clock at Brussels airport, I'm now checking-in for my flight to Doha with connection in Zurich. No time to waste at the shops, I don't want to anyway...

I arrived in Doha the same day, and got stuck at immigration for 2 hours with a queue of at least 500 people in front of me. I didn't know what to expect from Qatar and its people, and honestly this scared me a little off. But once I hit the Arrivals lounge, I forgot all of that.

Doha is becoming one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world. You think the same about Brussels?? Well think again, the capitol of Europe is far from such big achievement. Scottish, Romanian, Lebanese, Belgian, French, English, and Asian people altogether, talking, sharing point of views and moments. That was by far what hit me the most when I went there. I don't understand European people sometimes... Had a few drinks with Jared, Paul Mendez and his girlfriend, Joe and his, and Fabrice, local french guy who picked me up at the Airport. OM rocks Fabrice!

The gig was on Thursday evening, in a tent with capacity for over 1500 people, and PACKED the crowd was. Played a shorter set, this time without headphones. Who needs headphones anyway for a Hybrid set like mine?? Had to keep the ear protection though, as even with that my ears were peeping the day after. AGAIN WHAT AN AMAZING CROWD!! Really up for it. I like this city, I like those people, and I can't wait to get back!! 4AM I'm now calling my wife, tired but happy to talk to her.

Friday morning, I just make my left eye open and look at my clock... 9.55, and I have to catch the driver at 10 at the hotel's lobby! I still manage to have a shower and almost get on time. Only 10 minutes late, well apparently, more than enough to irritate the driver, who left without me... thanks but it was my fault, ok. I literally Splash in a cab, get to the airport, check-in and fly back.to Brussels. Arrived at 11PM, I was home by 12.

In 6 days time, I travelled to 4 countries, flew more than 30 000 kms/ 20 000 miles, saw my wife for 5 hours, saw my family for 20 minutes. It's now tuesday and I can tell you, IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME AFTER THAT!!

I want to thank my wife, my family for supporting this, but also all the people involved in these 2 parts of the tour: Sumita Noriaki, NEKO, JD, all the japanese local people, Sharaku, Syn... Jared, Paul Mendez, Fabrice, Joe and his girlfriend, all the local people in Doha... for the most exhausting but also for the most fruitful gigs I have ever had in my entire career.

It's only Tuesday, already achieved a lot of work, and can't wait until you people listen to my next guest sets on Global DJ Broadcast this Thursday and on Vonyc this Friday. They're recorded hybrid sets, and I'm extremely glad you will have the chance to listen to what I'm doing at events like these 2.

Oh, and you see me extremely happy to see Paul van Dyk supporting the Trilogique album the way he's doing right now. From one of the 92-93 Trance godfathers that he is (and his #1 rating this year is more than well-deserved), this is really an unexpected honour!!

Take care you all
Maybe I'll see you in Giga parc this Friday or in Cristal, France this Sat.

Laurent.

"Forget James Brown" he said!!!

Hello folks. This week was impossibly hectic for me. Believe me or not, I made Radio interviews, checked and feedbacked more than 30 promo tracks, produced some music with my colleague Elof, recorded my 2hour Progrez show for DI Prog, recorded ANOTHER EXCLUSIVE GUEST SET, got at least a thousand e-mails and phone calls, and add some paperwork, some stuff to do here in my place... Damn, the Trilogique Tour has just begun its busiest phase, and I’m already on the knees!! BUT ENOUGH WHINING.

I love my occupation, I truly do, that’s why I’m staying extremely enthusiastic. First some Trilogique reviews on the net are not bad at all!! Secondly, I’m now believing this year is the most important one in my musical life. Peepz, I have incredible stuff coming up right now.

This Saturday, I'll play in Tokyo and have prepared a very very good digital record box, believe me!! Various styles, still AW stamp on them! Anyway, I'm getting incredibly nervous at this time of the week, of course. You know, playing both live and dj set at the same time is extreme. But this is a true experience, and those who came to Switzerland or Turkish shows in December know it yet. What about you?

So check a little further in last week's news for the next gigs near you. I just have 2 new gigs confirmed. Here they are:

April 1st Glasgow, Scotland, with Paul Mendez (more info to follow)

May 15th Istanbul IKU Music Festival, Turkey

There you go, a lot more will be added within the next few weeks, I'm just waiting for a confirmation.

Meanwhile, March will be full of Airwave on the webradio, too. Progrez as usual, every last Wed of each month on DI's Prog channel. Something you already know!! Besides that, my friend and colleague Markus Schulz asked me to do once again a guest set for his Global DJ Broadcast show on DI Trance, on March 9th. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to unveil the Hybrid set concept and make it a little more available. So, I ENTIRELY RECORDED AN EXCLUSIVE HYBRID LIVE AND DJ SET OF 60 MINS, FOR YOUR EARS ONLY!! Make sure you don't miss it next month!

March will see the release of new products such as Velvet Girl feat Anita Kelsey ´ Satisfy ª. Incredibly happy this one gets finally released. It's a lovely record, and includes an Airwave remix for you all progheadz!!

Well, I hope I will be able to post some report of my Asian trip, I'm really nervous right now, I'd better pack my bags!

Take care you all

Honey, I love you!

Laurent

Welcome

Hello peepz, long time no see!! I am extremely proud to welcome you on my totally redesigned website. I thought it'd be great to have this one up and running by the releasedate of Trilogique. Hope you will like it too!!
T R I L O G I Q U E

"Trilogique? huh? What is it?". Well, if you don't know the answer yet, it's my brand new album, look at the right side of the window, LOL. I feel terribly lucky to be able to put out a 3cd album on the market. I'm now uploading some snippets out of it, among others, so you can have a listen and judge yourself.

Trilogique should hit the stores by the 3rd of March, 2006. Less than 3 weeks, then. Meanwhile you can also pre-order it on the bonzaimusic.com website.
TRILOGIQUE... ON ITUNES TOO!

Also good news is the immediate availability on iTunes, it should be on the big music cyberstore any minute now!! Check it out when you can. iTunes is a fantastic piece of software for listening, buying, organizing, ripping, etc...
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT LIKE MIXED CD'S... WATCH THIS SPACE!!

I also have good news for some of you who do hate mixed or edited albums. There will be a DIGITAL EDITION of Trilogique available on iTunes, containing some of the best tracks on it, in their much longer versions.

RELEASEDATE: MARCH 10th!!
ALSO RELEASED IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS

And don't forget the album sampler collection, and the vinyl samplers, both available physically and on various download platforms (Eg: Beatport, Audiojelly, Trackitdown, Dancetunes, etc...). Check them out!!
RADIO-PODCAST

Belgium: This Saturday Feb 18th, don't miss ROTATIONZ on Topradio between 7 and 9PM, I'll do an exclusive and extended interview with my friend Hans and his colleagues, and we'll play some tracks off the album Trilogique too!! Check it out

http://www.rotationz.be

DO NOT FORGET!!! PROGREZ on DI FM prog channel every last Tuesday of each month, a special 2 hour show. And also, do not miss my frequent mixes on Sunshine live (the #1 EDM radio station in Germany).

Also, I will do a special guest mix on DLA Trance, this on the 24th of February.

One more thing: My NRJ radio show (every 1st and 3rd Sat of each month on NRJ Belgium) will now be PODCASTED, for your listening pleasure!! The podcast feed is ALREADY AVAILABLE on iTunes Music Store, and will be updated shortly after every show broadcast!
TRILOGIQUE TOUR DATES- Airwave HYBRID SET

The Trilogique Tour based on my Hybrid sets started in December 2005, with several gigs in Switzerland and Turkey.

Hybrid sets are exclusive ones, not the stuff you will hear in my radio shows. They combine the strength of realtime mixing-mash up with Ableton Live software, and playing Live keyboards on top of the music. It's a unique experience, and I am very proud to share this with you all during the next Tour dates worldwide:

Feb 25th: Unit, Tokyo, Japan
